Vancouver Team’s Website System Used By Global, GRAMMY Award-Winning Clientele
VANCOUVER | October 24, 2012 — A Vancouver team’s dynamic website system is used by an internationally-renowned performing arts clientele that includes GRAMMY Award-winning artists like the Emerson String Quartet, Maestro Bramwell Tovey and Soprano Ana María Martínez, in addition to the official PR representatives of the Metropolitan Opera — Shuman Associates — and a shrine to the likes of Michael Buble, Bryan Adams and Sarah McLachlan — the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame.
The service — KultureShock.Net: Talented Websites For The Most Talented People In The World — was designed specifically for the performing arts. Clients can create a website instantly, manage all of their own content using an intuitive, easy to understand interface, and choose from a new gallery of free, completely customizable Themes available in a rainbow of colors. A deluxe Custom Design package is also available.
“There was nothing like this for the performing arts when we first created this system in 2005” said Vancouver native Sean Bickerton, a former Vice President of Columbia Artists Management in New York. “As an artist manager, I understand what performing artists need in order to promote themselves online and connect with their audience.”
In 1995, Bickerton began collaborating with Tom Hudock, a former Art Director with one of the largest advertising agencies in the world, Grey Global, to create e-marketing solutions for iconic arts clients including Angel Records, the Metropolitan Opera, Warner Brothers, Unitel Records and the European Mozart Foundation.
According to Hudock “It’s that combination of my experience creating digital branding solutions for clients like Braun, Canon and Hewlett-Packard, coupled with Sean’s arts background, that makes KultureShock.Net unique. Our clients get the benefit of the best of both worlds.”
After twenty years in New York, the creative duo moved to Bickerton’s hometown of Vancouver, Canada, in 2007. Today, Kultureshock.Net has clients in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
